Tariffs (US buyers beware)

If buying with a US address buyer beware you will have to pay an additional $18.87 to DHL on importations and if not paid then you will only partly be refunded by the seller due to “restocking fees”.

As I stated when we communicated by email, unfortunately the new tariff situation where the US has removed the de minimus on all parcels entering the US the fee is unavoidable to its citizens. We have been working with DHL to try and get this fee as low as possible which is why the payment was not more than $18.87.
The partial refund for not paying the tariff fee was not a restocking fee, it is the fee we are charged when a recipient refuses to pay the charge and it has to be returned to us.

We have now started a new plan with DHL where we pay the tariff fee upfront so you will no longer have to pay the fee on delivery and you will now only be charged a flat fee of £10 which is around $13.

We understand that unexpected fees can be frustrating and we tried to make all US customers aware of these unavoidable fees through our website and newsletter. We apologise that you were caught unaware and hope you can shop with us with confidence going forward.
