I pulled this little gem out of dusty storage and had it framed.
I love this print. I am a big fan of this show and when I had seen this print years ago and had to have one.
The artwork is as timeless as the characters. These colors are a great match for each slayer. Everything pops off the page.
Years ago, when I picked this print up, I thought I'd be able to get it framed and hang it in the open. In fact, I showed it to a friend, and she loved the print and the idea of having it framed. She did express her thoughts that it would hang better at her place than mine. Which I said she could always enjoy it from my apartment.
Well, years had passed, and it collected dust in a tube in my closet. More years pass and I mess up. My friend and I had a falling out. All my fault. All Me. My issues. My mistake. I had hurt a friend over an issue I still have, but I had to show my friend, Cheryl, that I was sorry. A grand gesture to someone I feel is a sister.
Then it hit me. I pulled this little gem out of dusty storage and had it framed. It came out amazing. The woman who framed this for me is just as much of an Artist. Her work complements those colors that jump out at you from the page.
I hope one day her daughter will hang this and remember my friendship with her family. A family I've enjoyed being a part of for almost 30 years. Maybe I'll get another one. For now, I'll just get to enjoy it from her home.
